Chuck Vivian is CEO – Principal Consultant of Cogency Group and has more then three decades of professional sales experience. Chuck has held various sales and sales executive leadership positions throughout his career.

Prior to founding Cogency Group, Chuck was Vice President of Sales for Alliance Medical Corporation, a Phoenix based start-up focused on hospital cost savings services. Before Alliance, Chuck was Vice President of Sales – Americas for Computer Motion, Inc. a Santa Barbara based developer of surgical robotic systems. Chuck was also at U.S. Surgical division of Tyco Healthcare for over 16 years. While there, as VP of Sales, he was responsible for the company’s U.S. sales and 430+ member field sales team.

Chuck has won numerous national, divisional and regional awards and has been consistently recognized as an over-achiever from Sales Rep through his most recent positions of VP of Sales. Chuck received the National Eagle Leadership Institute Award for outstanding achievement in 2001. The National Eagle Leadership Institute® is a premier leadership development resource for African-American and Latino professionals.

Chuck is consistently maximized results through the professional development of sales organizations and is experienced in course design. Chuck has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
